We are really doing this!!

We spent today cleaning, packing, doing laundry, gathering movies, charging DVD player batteries, downloading songs to Ipods, buying snacks and gathering paperwork. We only have 4 full days left. It seems surreal that in a few more days we will have a daughter. What on earth am I going to do with a girl?? I am a boy mom through and through. When I picture Mia Mei, I see a sweet little CLEAN girl. Her hair is done up with baretts and bows. She has a pretty dress on and has a dollie in her arms. Then my fantasy gets interrupted by a little boy covered in dirt, running through the house with a nerf dart gun. Then reality sets in and I realize that she is going to want to follow that little boy around and do what he is doing. I can still dream.
Please excuse the spelling mistakes, my spell check is not working.

Only 8 More Sleeps!!

Graham counts time by the number of sleeps. It is easier for him to keep track that way. He gets confused because today can be today or today can be tomorrow. The mind of a 5-year old. Today he finally called Mia his sister. He told me that he has a baby sister. It was the sweetest thing.
So we only have 8 more sleeps. That gives me about 6 more days to pack, unpack then repack. I have already packed and repacked Mia's things twice. I am sure I will do it a few more times. I am having a hard time concentrating on the things I still need to do. I swear I have adult ADD. I figure all I really need to do is get the boys to Portland, have my adoption paperwork, passports and money and I should be good. Everything else will be a bonus.

Daddy is Home!!

Justin came home today after 11 days in the field. The boys were so happy for him to come home. Graham woke up this morning and yelled "Daddy is coming home at dinner time" I think he was afraid he would not come home. He asked me where his daddy lived and if he was just "visiting" us. Poor little guy.
