Christmas Cookies

On Christmas Eve we decided to bake cookies for Santa. Kyle wasn't feeling well so he did a few and was done. Brayden and Graham worked very hard at using all the dough. They wanted to make sure they were able to get as many cookies as possible. Logan concentrated on eating the dough and doing sprinkle "shots". He had a grand time filling up the lid to the sprinkles and knocking it back. We are in trouble when he gets to college.

Merry Christmas!!!

Santa came to town!!!! New bikes, new toys and new clothes. The energy level was sky high this morning in our home. The boys were so excited about Santa. They were thrilled about all the new toys and games. The clothes didn't go over so well. Although they were happy about their new "hoodies" Kyle stated that clothes were a waste of a present. I first heard noises about 5:00 am. Logan claims he "fell" out of bed. I told them not to come get us until 7:30. I was able to hold them off until 7:00. That is when Graham woke up. He couldn't wait. He had to see if Santa came. We had a wonderful Christmas. It is great to have our family together again. Merry Christmas!!

Happy Birthday Kyle!!!!!!!!!

November 29th was Kyle's birthday. He is a big bad 11 year old now. We had an ice cream birthday cake (his idea). He got a computer, a bird identification book, one of those bird clocks that has a different bird call every hour, and a couple of play station games--spoiled rotten isn't he?? He is big on birds these days. This birthday was a much happier one than last year. On his birthday last year, Daddy left for Iraq---
All and all it was a nice little Family Birthday Party ...after all no where to go but up after the excitement on his birthday last year. Happy Birthday Kyle!!!
